Gust is a WordPress theme with a deep integration with Tailwind CSS and a drag and drop page builder. It supports the Tailwind CSS essentials, including JIT mode, and the Tailwind config can be customised.
More than 50 hand-crafted templates and components come with the theme. The templates are responsive pages and sections, while the components are the smaller pieces you combine into your own layouts. You can also create your own components and share them as JSON, or build them in the visual page builder.
Dynamic content is handled in the visual editor, which can retrieve data from WP Query. That covers cases such as a post grid or a list of products, and you can set up a loop that repeats the same template over your content. When WP Query is not enough, filters let you return exactly the data you need.
On the output side, the theme removes unused CSS, and its CSS is under 7kb out of the box. Developers get an extensive set of WordPress hooks, which give them the final say on what is rendered.
