Yes. Every file - plugin, theme, or PHP script - is virus scanned before it is made available for download, and each version is scanned independently, with the VirusTotal result shown on the product page. We distribute original, unmodified files from the developer: nothing is nulled, cracked, or injected with any code of our own.

How do download credits work?

Each plan includes a daily credit allowance. Each product has different number of credits needed for downloading. Credits reset every day at midnight UTC. Unused credits do not roll over to the next day.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes, upgrades are instant. Go to your Subscription page in the dashboard and click "Change Plan" - we credit the unused portion of your current plan toward the new one, so you only pay the difference. Downgrades to a smaller plan or a shorter billing interval are not supported: cancel your current plan instead, keep access until your paid time ends, then subscribe to the smaller plan. For legacy gpl.coffee subscribers, subscribe to a new plan on gplcoffee.dev, then cancel the old one from your PayPal account.

Can I upgrade my subscription to a Lifetime plan?

Yes. Each active recurring subscription can be converted to a Lifetime plan independently. Go to your Subscription dashboard, find the plan you want to convert, and click "Upgrade to Lifetime" on that plan. We apply the unused days on that plan as a credit toward the lifetime price, so you only pay the difference. Other active plans are not affected, and you can repeat the upgrade for each one if you want multiple lifetime plans.

Can I buy a single plugin or theme without a membership?

Yes. Every product page has a "Buy this item directly" option, available as a 1-year license (download that product and its updates for 12 months) or a lifetime license (for as long as we distribute it). Item purchases use no credits and need no active plan, and owning at least one also gives you a 10-site Connector allowance. A membership is still the cheaper route if you need more than a handful of products.

The GPLCoffee Connector is our WordPress plugin. It connects your site to your GPLCoffee account so you can install and update the plugins, themes, and PHP scripts you're entitled to without downloading a single zip by hand. It never unlocks products your plan or purchases don't already cover.

It's offered as an addon subscription ($29.90 per year, covering 25 connected sites per addon - stack addons if you run more sites), separate from your membership plan. It's included free with Lifetime plans and with 6-month and yearly subscriptions, and if you've bought any individual plugin, theme, or PHP script outright you get a 10-site allowance with no subscription at all.

Do I need the Connector to download plugins?

No. You can download any plugin from gplcoffee.dev directly through your browser - that is the default flow and it works with every membership tier and lifetime deal. The Connector is an optional convenience layer that lives inside wp-admin, so you do not have to leave WordPress to manage your gplcoffee plugins.

Use the Connector when you want one-click installs and automatic updates without juggling zip files. Use the browser download when you prefer a manual workflow or only need an occasional plugin.

How many sites can I use with the Connector?

Each Connector addon covers 25 connected sites, and the allowance stacks: 2 addons = 50 sites, 3 addons = 75 sites, and so on. Lifetime plans and 6-month or yearly subscriptions include 25 sites at no extra cost. If you have bought at least one individual plugin, theme, or PHP script outright, you get a 10-site allowance without any subscription. Disconnecting a site frees its slot immediately, and the cap only counts sites connected through the Connector - you can still install manual downloads on as many sites as you like under the GPL.

How do I install the Connector plugin?

Sign in to your GPLCoffee dashboard and open the Connector page. Download the plugin there, install it on your WordPress site like any other plugin, then paste in the connection key shown on that same page. Your site appears in the connected sites list as soon as it checks in.

What is your refund policy?

Every refund request is reviewed case by case - submit a ticket via our help page with your account email and order details. Because downloads cannot be returned under the GPL, having already downloaded products makes a refund unlikely, but it is not an automatic refusal. If you have not downloaded anything, a refund within 7 days of purchase is normally approved. Individual item purchases (a single plugin, theme, or PHP script) are refundable at our discretion, for example a duplicate purchase or a product that does not work as described. Purchased credit packs are non-refundable. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, and no partial refund is issued for unused time. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. You will receive a reset link. If you migrated from gpl.coffee, use the same email but set a new password.

I migrated from gpl.coffee. How do I access my account?

Your account was automatically migrated. Log in with your gpl.coffee email address. Use "Forgot Password" if you need to set a new password. Your download history and favorites were preserved during migration.

Can I create a new account?

Accepted Answer

New account registration is temporarily closed. If you already have an account you can sign in and use everything as normal - this does not affect existing customers or their plans.

Can I get a receipt or invoice for my purchase?

Yes. Sign in and open your Subscription page, then click "Receipt" next to any completed payment or owned product. A PDF invoice downloads instantly, showing the billing details on your account. Nothing is emailed - you can download a receipt whenever you need one.
