Caliris is a colourful one-page WordPress theme for creative people and agencies, with designers and photographers named among its intended users.
Two custom post types, Portfolio and Team, are part of the theme, so work samples and team members are managed as their own entries rather than as regular posts or pages. Their content loads with Ajax on the single front page, and visitors move between the sections of that page with smooth scrolling.
Nine premade sections provide the building blocks for the front page, and a simple image slider is available for showing pictures. A shortcode generator is included too, along with an XML demo content file. The theme also has a grid layout, four columns, custom colours, featured images, threaded comments and theme options.
For other languages, the theme supports multilingual sites through WPML and Polylang, and it can be translated with a .POT file, which is compatible with Loco Translate. The layout is responsive to fit any screen size, and a child theme is included for your own changes.
