the blocking "You must install a license to continue using Wordfence." overlay on Wordfence 8.2.2: sets a deterministic per-site `apiKey` (satisfies `wfOnboardingController::needsApiKey()`, the sole gate on that overlay), since the plugin previously forged isPaid/keyType/licenseType/keyExpDays but never set apiKey itself.
a second blocking overlay (`#wf-toupp-required-overlay` / ToU banner) that setting apiKey unmasks: now also clears `touppPromptNeeded` on every load.

Other

Closed a state-overwrite race: `wordfence_daily_cron` → `pingApiKey()` made a real, unintercepted call to `noc1.wordfence.com` that could silently rewrite the forged license fields back to "no license" (and send a "license removed" email) on every scheduled cron run. The `pre_http_request` filter now also intercepts noc1's license-affecting actions (`ping_api_key`, `check_api_key`, `get_anon_api_key`, `record_toupp`) and returns synthetic responses that reinforce the forged state; all other noc1 traffic is left unintercepted (unchanged from prior behavior).
Documented a known, non-fixable limitation: WAF rule-fetch/IP-blacklist traffic to `noc4.wordfence.com` uses the `wfWAFHTTP` transport, which never passes through `pre_http_request` and cannot be intercepted by this plugin.

Removed

the now-dead `ajax_downgradeLicense_callback()` fallback that ran whenever apiKey was empty — apiKey is never empty now, and that call routed through the same unintercepted noc1 host.
