v4.8.0Latest
September 3, 2026237.8 KBScanned
Added
- FedEx Freight (LTL) live rates via the new FedEx Freight platform (api.ltl.tech), which the FedEx Freight spinoff moved LTL rating onto.
- Separate FedEx Freight API credentials, OAuth, and an independent production/sandbox environment toggle for the FedEx Freight platform.
Improved
- FedEx Freight (LTL) rates now require separate FedEx Freight API credentials from developer.fedexfreight.com. Stores that rated LTL before the spinoff will not receive LTL rates until those credentials are entered.
- FedEx Freight rate activity is now logged under its own environment and tagged separately from parcel, so the two can be told apart when they use different environments.
- WooCommerce 11.1 Compatibility.
Fixed
- A rate response containing no rates is now remembered for ten minutes instead of a week, so a temporary empty result from FedEx no longer suppresses rates for that destination for days.
- Stores that have not entered their FedEx API credentials no longer write authentication errors to the log on every request.
- Saving new API credentials now clears the cached token and reports whether they authenticated; both checks were silently skipped before.
- Rate quotes returned without pricing details, which FedEx sends for services it could not rate, no longer emit PHP notices.
v4.7.0Unavailable
August 5, 2026214.0 KBScanned
Added
- FEDEX_INTERNATIONAL_DEFERRED_FREIGHT service code and freight mapping, so stores with freight enabled see the service named in the cart instead of with a blank label.
Fixed
- Freight-qualified shipments to international destinations no longer return a 400 error; routed to standard rate endpoint which can return INTERNATIONAL_PRIORITY_FREIGHT and INTERNATIONAL_ECONOMY_FREIGHT for heavy international packages.
- StateOrProvinceCode is no longer sent for non-US/CA/PR destinations.
- Hyphens stripped from recipient postal codes for international format compatibility.
Improved
- Removed the legacy SOAP (Web Services) API. All stores now use the REST API; any store still configured for SOAP is automatically switched to REST.
v4.6.1Unavailable
July 20, 2026435.3 KBScanned
Fixed
- Liftgate special services are now only added to Freight (FDXF) rate requests, preventing SERVICE.PACKAGECOMBINATION.INVALID errors on non-Freight (Express, Ground, and SmartPost) requests.
- Retry transient transport failures (cURL timeouts, connection resets) in the FedEx REST API client before returning an empty rate list.

v4.5.8Unavailable
April 21, 2026410.4 KBScanned
Fixed
- Respect admin-defined service order when rates are returned from multiple request buckets (e.g. Ground + Express for FEDEX_PAK shipments).
- FedEx rates now appear on Blocks-based checkout pages that are not set as the default WooCommerce checkout page.
Improved
- Suppress shipping method notices outside AJAX requests.
