v2.15.1Latest
October 14, 20267.0 MBScanned
Fixed
- A collection's rating is now its real average instead of being rounded up to a whole star, so a 4.6 collection no longer shows as 5 in the feed, Review Alerts or Trust Badges. Existing collections are corrected when you update.
- Empty and half stars in a feed are shown in grey whatever star colour you choose, so a half star or a 3-star review no longer looks like a full rating with black or dark stars.
- Review rich snippets now appear for feeds placed with SiteOrigin Page Builder, Beaver Builder or Bricks.
- A page that only shows the shortcode as text, or holds another plugin's feed, no longer publishes a review rating for a feed that isn't there.
- Reviews Feed's database tables are recreated automatically if they go missing, for example after a database cleanup tool runs.
- Clearing a feed's cache no longer logs a PHP notice when debugging is on.
- Review Alerts show the exact accent colour you type, including white and greys, and review counts use your site's thousands separator.
- Deactivating a licence that is no longer active on this site now shows the Activate button and explains why.
- A feed that can't fetch reviews for a source now tells you why in the feed editor, instead of only showing "No Posts Found".
- Plugin security hardening.

Added
- If your licence is for a different Reviews Feed Pro plan than the build installed, a notice on the Dashboard, the Plugins page and Reviews Feed Settings now says so and names both, instead of the two quietly disagreeing. All Access licences never show it.
Fixed
- When you reach the source limit without an API key, Add Source now says so and takes you to the API key step.
- Pages with the Reviews Elementor widget no longer include the editor's feed data for visitors. If you use a page cache, clear it after updating.
- The block editor now gets only each feed's ID and name, so source details no longer reach anyone who can edit posts.
- Adding a TripAdvisor source accepts listings with a short location id, and a link that can't work (a city or list page, a member profile, plain text) now tells you what to paste instead.
- Duplicating a collection keeps the review images. Before, the copy was created without them and there was no error to say so.
- Importing reviews into a collection keeps their images, and stores them on your own site when that setting is on. Importing a whole collection from Settings keeps the images too, still loaded from where they were originally hosted.
- Review images saved to a collection, whether added by hand, imported, duplicated or sent in through a form, now have to be http or https image links. Anything that isn't a web address is dropped, along with any extra data attached to the image, and brackets in a link are encoded so they can't affect the page.
- Review images in a feed can no longer add styling of their own to the page. Every image link is cleaned just before it is printed, which also covers reviews saved by earlier versions and images from any review source.
- The list of feeds shown as using a source or collection no longer treats a `_` or `%` in its ID as a wildcard, so it can't list feeds that belong to a different source. The usage count next to it is worked out separately and is unchanged.
- Facebook reviews added to a collection by hand keep the stars you set. Before, they were saved as 1 star, which lowered the collection's rating and the feed's overall rating. Reviews already saved are corrected when you update.
- The "Optimize Images" setting is respected. With it off, review images aren't copied to your site and images load from where they're hosted.
- Duplicating or importing a large collection no longer times out downloading every image at once; images are processed in the background as the feed is viewed, and Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor reviews in a collection keep their photos.
- Review images whose link starts with // are kept instead of being dropped when a collection is saved, duplicated or imported.
- When Trustpilot can't be reached, adding a Trustpilot source says so instead of calling the link invalid. This is a server-side change and needs no update.

Added
- An About Us page under the Reviews Feed menu with plugin information and helpful links.
- A Data sharing section at the end of the General settings tab shows how usage data and in-plugin notifications are handled for your Pro license.
Fixed
- Saving settings without making any changes no longer shows an error message.
- In-plugin notifications now appear as expected, and a dismissed notification stays dismissed.

Fixed
- The All Feeds page opens again on sites with a lot of content. Working out where each feed was used meant searching every post on the site, twice per feed, so on large sites the page could sit loading for around ten minutes. It now does that work once and remembers it.
- Feeds added with the Reviews block, the older feed block, a synced pattern, a template part or the Elementor widget are now counted under "Instances". Before this, only feeds added with a shortcode were, so a feed that was live on your site could be listed as used in 0 places right next to the delete button.
- Instance counts are accurate where feed IDs share the first digits. Feed 12 was also counting pages that used feed 127. Some counts will go down after updating, and the lower number is the right one.
- Adding or removing a feed from a page shows up straight away instead of waiting for a cached result to expire.
- When we cannot finish checking where a feed is used, the Instances column now says so instead of showing zero, and the delete confirmation no longer claims the feed is unused.
- The Trust Badges page opens again on sites with a lot of content. Counting where each badge was used meant searching every post on the site, once per badge. It now does that once and remembers it. A badge used on a page whose title starts late in the alphabet is also counted properly now, where before it could show as used in 0 places.
- When we cannot finish checking where a trust badge is used, the Instances column now says so instead of showing zero, and the delete confirmation tells you we could not check rather than implying the badge is unused.
- Pasting a TripAdvisor tour or experience link now tells you straight away that TripAdvisor does not share reviews for those, and suggests using a hotel, restaurant or attraction link instead. Before, the box simply sat there with no answer.
- Double-clicking the Finish button when adding a source no longer saves it more than once.
- The onboarding tooltip that points at the block inserter works again on WordPress 6.9 and 7.0, where the editor moved into a frame and the tooltip lost track of the button.
- Review dates read "1 year ago" instead of "1 years ago".
- The Collections page lists all of your collections and gives you page controls to move through them. Before, it showed only some of them — however many happened to come first — with no next page and no way to reach the rest.
- The Collections, About us and Support pages line up with the plugin's other pages again instead of sitting slightly to the right.
- Deactivating Reviews Feed no longer clashes with the feedback form of another Smash Balloon plugin active on the same site, which could show the wrong form or make the request fail.

Added
- Reviews Feed now shares your overall rating, your connected review sources, each feed's stats and your latest reviews with the Feed Analytics dashboard, so its Reviews report is fully populated instead of asking you to update this plugin. Nothing is shared unless Feed Analytics asks for it.
Improved
- Translations refreshed. The translation template had not been rebuilt in several releases, so hundreds of newer strings, including the whole Trust Badges screen, could not be translated. They can now, and translations that already existed for them are back in use.
- The PRO and PRO+ labels in the admin menu can now be translated.
Fixed
- WordPress.org reviews show the WordPress.org logo again. The feed was asking for an icon file under a name that never existed, so the mark came up blank and every WordPress.org review quietly loaded a full 404 page behind the scenes.
- Review dates no longer show as a large negative number of "seconds ago" when a source stores the review time as text.
- Typos and grammar corrected in a number of settings and help strings.

Added
- Airbnb reviews. Add your Airbnb listing as a source and show its guest reviews on your site — including the host's reply to a guest (on reviews the host answered) and the listing location. Works in both feeds and Review Alert popups. Available on Elite.
Improved
- Review Alert popups now show the Airbnb host reply in the same clean, readable style as the feed, across the Light, Dark, Minimal and Minimal Dark themes.
Fixed
- You can now add a TripAdvisor source without entering an API key. The API key step now has a Skip option — adding your own key is still optional — matching how TripAdvisor feeds already work behind the scenes.

Added
- Booking.com reviews. Add your Booking.com property as a source and show its guest reviews on your site — with Booking's own score and wording (like "8.9 Fabulous"), the pros and cons guests mention, and their review titles.
Improved
- Booking feeds now pull more of your review history in the background, so more of your reviews show over time.
- Review Alert popups got a cleaner, easier-to-read polish across the Light, Dark, Minimal and Minimal Dark themes.

Improved
- On multilingual sites using WPML, your Google reviews now show up fully translated in every language you offer — not just the first few. Whichever language a visitor is browsing in, they'll see all of your reviews in that language, including when they click "Load More".
- Google and Yelp feeds now pick up new reviews on their own, even when several come in at once — so your feed always shows your latest reviews, no manual refresh needed.
Fixed
- WordPress.org reviews now display their source icon correctly.

Fixed
- Review Alerts now show your business's real overall rating and total review count — matching your feed — instead of only the handful of recently cached reviews.
- Review Alert star ratings now display half stars correctly (for example, 4.5), the same way they appear in your feed, in both the editor preview and on your live site.
- You can now show Review Alerts on landing pages and other custom post types, not just standard pages.
- Google reviews now translate correctly on WPML sites that use a regional language (for example Spanish — Mexico). The plugin maps the WPML language to a code Google supports (such as es-419 for Latin American Spanish), and adds a filter, sbr_google_api_language, for overriding the language code sent to Google.
Other
- Compatibility: Tested and confirmed compatible with WordPress 7.0.

Fixed
- Feeds that combine more than one source now show the correct total review count and a properly weighted average rating — on your published pages, not just in the Feed Builder preview.
- Resolved a rare PHP error that could stop a feed from displaying.
- Reviews feeds load faster on Elementor sites — the plugin no longer runs extra background database lookups on every page, which could slow down sites with a lot of feeds.
- Fixed feeds dropping to only a few reviews after moving a site to a new domain — the plugin now reconnects to your existing account on the new address instead of getting stuck.
- Removing a review source now works properly — deleting one could previously error out, or leave you unable to add a new source even when none was showing in your list.
- Clicking Clear All Caches now refreshes your reviews right away, instead of sometimes leaving a feed empty until the next scheduled update.
- Pro customers (including legacy All Access Bundle licenses) are no longer mistakenly shown a free-plan review limit — your full set of reviews loads as expected.
- Additional plugin hardening.
