Ocean Extra is the companion plugin for the OceanWP theme, adding local Google Fonts, mega menus, site templates and per-page settings. It only functions with OceanWP.

Fonts. Hosting Google Fonts locally is a one-click option with no font upload required. Any Google font applied from the Customizer then loads from your own site, and the feature also covers Google fonts applied through Elementor. Adobe Fonts (Typekit) can be added to the OceanWP theme and to Elementor as well.

Menus. A mega menu is set up directly through the standard WordPress Menus screen. Menu items can also carry icons, with icon libraries such as Font Awesome, Simple Line Icons and Dashicons supported.

Headers, footers and templates. You can create as many templates as you like with any page builder, including Gutenberg. A custom header or footer is applied directly through the Customizer, and other templates can be placed with shortcodes or hooks.

Per-page control. Metabox settings on each page or post let you apply a different layout, pick a custom sidebar or turn the header, top bar and page title on or off.

Customizer export and import. Styling options set in the Customizer can be exported for use on other sites, and an existing styling file can be imported to apply all of its settings. A reset option returns all current settings to OceanWP's default values.

The plugin also adds widgets such as About Me, Contact Info, Recent Posts with thumbnails and Social Icons, plus OceanWP shortcodes for dynamic content like the current year and current user. An Extra Settings panel turns individual components on or off.
