JetFormBuilder - Drag and Drop File Upload is a JetFormBuilder add-on that adds drag and drop file upload to forms, so visitors can upload as many media files as needed. JetFormBuilder itself must be installed.
An uploaded file can go to one of two places. It can be added to the WordPress Media Library as an attachment, where the Media Library details match the final processed file, or it can be saved on the server's hard drive without becoming a WordPress attachment.
An instant upload mode is also available, and images saved on the server in that mode can still be attached through the Send Email action.
Images go through resize and quality settings, applied consistently to every uploaded image. HEIC and HEIF files are supported, and duplicates are found by comparing a hash of the file content rather than the filename.
The maximum file size follows the effective WordPress upload limit, and required-field validation is handled in multistep forms that use Advanced validation.
Developers can hook into upload responses and upload finalizers through filters such as jet.form-builder.advanced-media.upload_finalizers.
