How AbuseIPDB works
When someone submits a form, AbuseIPDB returns a confidence score for the IP address. You decide how strict your forms are.
- IP score filtering: Set your threshold and any submission above it is marked as spam.
- Country blocklist: Block submissions from specific countries using country IP codes.
- Domain blocklist: Block submissions from specific domains tied to known bad actors.
- Two-way reporting: Mark an entry as spam in WordPress and the IP is reported back to AbuseIPDB as Web Spam.
