Changelog

Other
  • Security: Hardened database query escaping and sanitization across audience filters, automation rules, and REST endpoints. (#3334)
  • Dev: New `bwfan_link_trigger_fire_wp_login` filter (default `true`) to suppress the `wp_login` fire during link-trigger auto-login, preventing third-party login-redirect, membership, or LMS plugins from hijacking the link trigger's configured destination. (#3359)
  • Dev: New `bwfan_ecom_tracking_order_meta_fallback` filter to toggle the order-meta fallback used by the `{{order.ecom_tracking_data}}` merge tag when no conversion row exists yet. (#3377)
Added
  • Disable Step in automations — turn off an individual step so active contacts skip it at runtime, without deleting the step or losing its configuration. (#4775)
  • Sublium Subscriptions email blocks in the Visual Builder — subscription info and line-item blocks now render inside Sublium subscription emails, including full installment-schedule payment breakdowns for installment plans. (#3330)
  • Contact Form 7 support in the Forms module — CF7 is now selectable as a form type under Forms → Add New Form, unlocking field mapping, form analytics, and lead notifications just like Gravity Forms and WPForms. (#3365)
  • Contact log notes for email bounce and spam-complaint webhooks — when a supported email service provider (Mailgun, SendGrid, Amazon SES, Postmark, SparkPost, Brevo, Mailjet, Elastic Email, SMTP.com) reports a bounce or complaint, a timestamped note is now recorded on the contact so delivery problems are visible directly on the contact timeline. (#3352)
  • "Not in the period" (not-between) range operator for day-based contact filters and automation rules — target contacts whose date falls outside a given day range. (#4754)
  • "Not in the last X days" and "Not in the period" operators for date-based audience filters and automation rules — target contacts who have NOT acted within a window, including those who never acted at all (never purchased, never opened an email, never logged in). Applies across ~15 order, subscription, engagement, login, and automation-completion filters/rules. (#3345)
  • "During contact's birthday month" mode for the Birthday Reminder event — reach every contact whose birthday falls anywhere in a target month (with an optional one-month-ahead offset and a chosen send day), instead of only contacts matching a single calendar day. (#3318)
  • Toggle to hide the "Search Contact" shortcut from the WordPress admin toolbar — available under FunnelKit Automations → Settings → Tools and enabled by default, for stores that want a cleaner toolbar for their team. (#4801)
Improved
  • Conditional and split-path delete flow in the automation builder — remove a specific path or keep one path when deleting a split, instead of removing the whole branch. (#4770)
  • REST API endpoints now load on demand, improving overall admin performance. (#3225)
  • Soft-bounced contacts are now included in broadcasts by default, so temporary delivery failures no longer permanently exclude recipients from future campaigns. (#3364)
Fixed
  • Forminator calculator forms (and any form with "Store Submissions" disabled) failed to submit with a generic error whenever FunnelKit Automations Pro was active. (#3368)
  • Non-searchable custom fields (such as Text Area fields) were missing from the preferences list and therefore unavailable as export columns. (#3357)
  • Broadcast Orders tab rendered empty on WooCommerce HPOS-enabled stores where syncing was off. (#4780)
  • Broadcast analytics — order count and revenue sometimes included data from other broadcasts. (#3371)
  • Reply-To header sent without a display name caused SMTP rejection with some mail providers (e.g. Authority Mailer). (#3348)
  • `{{order.ecom_tracking_data}}` merge tag (funnel name, conversion time, UTM data) rendered empty when an automation fired before the order conversion was finalized — it now falls back to order meta so funnel and tracking values resolve during that window. (#3377)
  • Mailgun and SparkPost temporary delivery failures were recorded as hard bounces, permanently marking otherwise healthy contacts as undeliverable; Mailgun "failed" events with temporary severity and all non-definitive SparkPost bounce classes are now treated as soft bounces.
