This add-on allows you to send notifications to non-WordPress users. With this add-on you can:

  • Send notifications to an email address that has been manually typed into the ‘Send To’ box.
  • If you have the Custom Fields add-on installed and activated, you can send notifications to an email address stored in a custom field by adding the shortcode to the ‘Send To’ box.
  • If you have the Per-post Override add-on installed and activated, you can send notifications to an email address that has been manually typed or a custom field by adding the shortcode to the Notifications meta box.

You can use manually typed email addresses or custom field shortcodes in addition to selecting User Roles or Users in the Send To box as normal.

Note: Better Notifications For WordPress Plugin is required to use this add-on which is available for free on the WordPress repository.
