Changelog
Fixed
- The AI Chatbot could surface content-restricted docs in Basic Mode to visitors who should not see them
- Adding glossary terms could fail on sites running other plugins that share the same global, a regression introduced in 4.3.1
- Content Restriction hid restricted knowledge bases and docs from administrators connecting over MCP
- Encyclopedia alphabet links and glossary-term links returned 404 on sites using PATHINFO ("index.php") permalinks
- The Encyclopedia stylesheet shipped unscoped generic class rules that could hide unrelated theme elements
- The Encyclopedia search icon is now inlined instead of hot-linked from an external CDN
- AI features ignored the AI platform you selected and required an OpenAI key regardless
Improved
- The Markdown endpoint for docs now lives in BetterDocs free, with Pro keeping only the Content Restriction gate on top
